1 down......many more to go :)

Drew lost his first tooth tonight. Jim tried to pull it out earlier in the evening. I was able to get it after I brushed his teeth before bed. He handled the blood very well. I think the thought of the tooth fairy coming took his fear of blood away. Usually when he sees blood he gets very dramatic but not tonight. He is sooooooooooooooo excited to see what the tooth fairy is going to bring him.

Silly Kids

The kids and I had so much fun this evening. We were dancing and playing baseball. You normally wouldn't think those two things go together but it was actually very fun!!

New Chairs

We bought a couple of fun chairs for the kids this weekend. We are trying to update the playroom. We want to turn it in to more of a reading area/Wii play area. Jim and I just need to agree on which TV to put in the playroom. We might just need to buy a new flat screen :)

Maggie's First Day of Pre-K

Maggie started school on Monday. She did great!! She has a wonderful teacher who is so good with the kids. Their class pet is a hamster named Butters. Maggie thinks it is really cute. I think she is going to have a great year.

GO IRISH!!!

Here are some photos to kick off the Notre Dame football season. Hopefully the way they played today does not set the tone for the season. They were pretty lucky to win the game.

SOCCER!!!

The kids had so much fun at soccer tonight. We were a little nervous for Maggie, but she did great!! They both have great coaches and great kids on their team. It will be a fun season.

First Day of School

Drew survived his first day of school. He came home very happy. He picked out his outfit for his first day. He went with one of his "handsome shirts." Any shirt that has a collar is a handsome shirt :) He was very cute but I think very nervous. I think the hardest thing he will have to get use to is not spending as much time at Grandma's. Luckily, I work all day on Mondays so he can get his fix!!

I can't believe Drew is in first grade....

I just finished packing Drew's lunch for his first day of first grade. I am surprised at how emotional I am. I always would think how great it would be when the kids would be in school all day, but now that it is here I am sad. I put a little note in his lunch just like my mom use to do for me. It always helped me get through my day so I hope it does the same for him. I know he will do great....I am just going to miss him :(

Rib Fest 2008

We had the third annual Rib Fest this weekend. Once again, it was a ton of fun. It is always so nice to get together with everyone. It is amazing how many little kids there are now. Denny swept the competition this year. Jason and Jim tied for second. The planner and organizer of the event, Eric, got the burnt buscuit. Better luck next year Eric :) The Grays are always so nice to host the event. They have an amazing house and property in Damascus that can hold all of our growing families.
