We are officially ready for Christmas. Jim surprised me today while I was at work and bought an artificial Christmas tree. I have been wanting one for years, but he did not want a fake tree. He finally caved in and bought one. I think it is perfect!! We had fun decorating the tree and watching the Duck game. GO DUCKS!!!
We had such a fun Thanksgiving. We started our morning off by walking to Starbucks with Buddy. The weather was perfect and the kids were able to play at the park for a little bit. We once again had an amazing meal at Mom and Dad's. Everyone chipped in which is so nice. I made a salad and tried to be a little fancy by making the candied pecans myself. Luckily, Jim was here and kept me from burning the house down. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie!! Conner and Grandma make amazing pies!! I can't wait to have it for breakfast in the morning : )
