Special Time

Jim and I each had special time with the kids today. Drew wanted to bake blueberry muffins from scratch with me. He did such a good job. We used the fresh blueberries we picked. We also went and got a shake at Skyline. Maggie and I went to Borders. She picked out a book that she wants her cousins to read too. She wants to have a book club where we get together to read and talk about the book. I swear she is so social. She loves being with her cousins. We also played Zingo and painted her nails. Jim went swimming with Maggie and took Drew to Wonderland. We had so much fun being one on one with each of them.

Blueberries

We had so much fun picking blueberries today. We found a cute little farm next to Bonny Slope Park. It is nice and close to our house. The kids had so much fun. They all did great!!!

Porter's Party

The theme of the party was to wear your best island attire. Jim of course came up with the creative idea of going as Gilligan's Island characters. He was Gilligan and I was his Mary Ann. It was a fun party and we won best dressed!

Fun Fourth!!

We had a lot of fun celebrating July 4th with friends and family. The morning was spent at the Hillsboro Parade. We had an amazing lunch at Aunt Mare and Uncle Dan's house afterwards. It was wonderful! The kids had so much fun and so did we. We went over to our friends The Troche's house for a BBQ. Drew and Maggie were in heaven. They were the oldest kids there. "Tones" was in love with Maggie and Nick kept calling Drew "the big guy." They thought they were pretty cool :)
